At the first glimmer of light of dawn, a young man walked at the edge of the seashore. There had been a storm the night before, and he knew this would be a good morning to find seashells. With pants rolled up above his ankles, he walked along looking down for what treasures he might find.

Then the young man looked up and could barely make out a figure of a very old man ahead of him. The young man watched as the old man bent down to pick up an object from the sand,, and toss it into the surf. As he got closer, and the light of morning began to turn the sancfpink, he noticed that the old man was picking up starfish that had been tossed up on the beach by the storm. There were thousands of them, but one by one the old man picked them up, and tossed them back into the surf.

Nearing the old man the young man introduced himself, and said, "Excuse me, but there are thousands of starfish stranded here on the beach. You can't possibly make a difference?" The old man smiled and looked at him, then picked up another starfish. He tossed it back in the sea. "I certainly made a difference to that one, didn't I, son?"

That old man did make a difference, like someone made a difference for me. Let me tell you my story.

When I was 9 years old, my father was experiencing pain and numbness in his hand. As a paramedic, this affected his ability to work. As an active father of three young children it also affected his ability to play and enjoy life. After several years and rounds with many doctors and specialists, with no improvement, my father finally made an appointment with a chiropractor as a last resort. My dad had been skeptical. But, after just two visits with his chiropractor, his symptoms were better! Most importantly...he could keep his job, he could play with his children! He could do all those things he had to give up before! AND, he was out of PAIN!

I had, at that time, been wetting the bed every night. They had tried everything imaginable to make this stop! This was devastating for a nine year old! I couldn't go to sleepovers, I had to wear DIAPERS to bed at the age of NINE and I had to use special sheets on my bed. I would cry myself to sleep every night because I was afraid to fall asleep and wet the bed! It was heartbreaking for me and the whole family. I hadn't gotten a full night sleep in years, so I was acranky child. I went to doctors, specialists and nutritionists, and the bills were mounting...

My Dad talked to the chiropractor about my troubles and the chiropractor suggested he bring me in for a spine check. He did just that, and guess what?? After only ONE adjustment, I NEVER wet the bed again. (I often wonder to this day if I never found chiropractic, would I STILL wet the bed?) That fateful visit to the chiropractor changed my life!

According to my Mom, after only two nights of a dry bed I exclaimed, "I want to be a chiropractor!". From that day forward, I never wanted anything else. I have dedicated my life to helping as many as I can with chiropractic. I am living my dream of helping others.

It's strange how life is, because now people come to see me with their children's problems. Also they come to me with their headaches, migraines, chronic pain, neck pain, shoulder/arm pain, whiplash from car accidents, backaches, ear infections, asthma, allergies, numbness in limbs, athletic injuries, just to name a few.

Great care at a great fee... Please, I hope that there's no misunderstanding about quality of care just because I have a lower fee. You'll get great care at a great fee. My qualifications...I'm a 1999 graduate of Life College-West. I have post-graduate training in whiplash, spinal trauma and auto accident care. I've been entrusted to take care of tiny newborn babies to folks in their nineties. I just have that low exam fee to help more people who need care.
